I heart cake!

I am not a cook, foodie, or even particularly fond of cake, but I want to bake this so bad!

Easy, right?!

Perfect for…..a christening?!

So….ever since I promised Mr WTS that I would not shop, only to buy a beautiful full-length feather skirt from Massimo Dutti THE SAME DAY, I have to justify all clothing purchases with at least three occasions I could wear it to.

I think I justified this with three up-coming weddings, plus a tiny picture of Jenna Lyons wearing a similar skirt (below) at the bottom of my handbag. (I had seen it in a magazine the day before and ripped it out for inspiration!)

But now I have seen this beauty from Paul Smith:

How do I justify it? We have a niece/nephew due in March. It’s perfect for a Christening, right?!

Pretty knicks!

I had to find something truly special for my first ever post, so……ta da!

I love the suggestive little cut out section at the front and the vintage bird print. It’s far too pretty to hide to away, so maybe around the house with a chunky oversized cardi? I’m sure Mr WTS would prefer this over my current cashmere sweats!

I was going to ask Father Christmas very nicely for this, but I’m not sure I can wait another seven weeks for it. I am not a very good girl.
